Our Services
Whether you're away for a few weeks, based further afield, or simply want the reassurance of regular eyes on your boat, our boat gardiennage service provides a reliable, regular and personal service caring for your vessel. We will also act as your pro-active Local Agent, a requirement of all Dart River boat owners by the Dart River Authority.
If essential issues which arise during our regular checks require action, such as mooring line or fender adjustment, scupper un-blocking, bilge pump failure, water ingress where not appropriate, and other general on-board issues, these will be identified and either brought to your attenttion or resolved, as part of our routine service to ensure the safety of your vessel. Additional services such as the supply and maintenance of cabin dehumidifiers, deck cleaning, deck timber treating, or liason and cooperation with shore-based engineers, are also provided.
Monthly or Bi-monthly Inspections and Reports
Our Standard Inspection service offers comprehensive monthly or twice monthly inspections to identify potential issues with your vessel before they become major problems. We also offer a Standard and Mechanical Inspection service which extends the routine checks to the boats engine, transmission and plumbing.
All inspections will be backed-up by inspection reports highlighting any concerns, with photos, where appropriate.
We offer Winter packages covering October through to April, or all year round packages, all tailored to your requirements and your vessel.
On the Water Resolution of Maintenance Issues
Remedial action of typical on-board issues, such as mooring or fender adjustment, drain clearance, and cover or canopy adjustment, are included as part of our standard service. Bilges and bilge pumps will be checked as standard, and any remedial action agreed with the owner before being carried out.
Where shore based maintenance is required, we can liase with and delivery to shore based engineers as necessary.
We offer additional services such as the supply and maintenance of crystal dehumidifiers for cabins and compartments, pre-season deck and cabin cleaning, and basic deck maintenance such as oiling, greasing, varnishing etc.
Post storm Checks and Reports
Following extreme weather condintions, we will check clients boats to ensure their safety, and report back if we have concerns that require actions beyond our standard service.
